I loved growing up here. The simplicity, the beaut

I loved growing up here. The simplicity, the beauty, the slower pace of life, living outdoors half the year, the gorgeous weather with over 300 days a year of sunshine.

But the village life was quiet and deep down, I always knew I wanted more.
More opportunities.
More options.
More of a life that felt like mine.

So at 24 I left even when it didn’t make sense to most.
I left the sunshine and my family and friends behind. It was definitely not easy. But ‘nothing changes if nothing changes’. If you want to change your situation, you have to change your actions.
And that decision changed everything.

Now I don’t have to choose between the life I came from
and the life I wanted to create.
I get to have both.
And the best part, I get to bring my kids back here whenever I choose to, without asking a boss for time off, because I am building a life that gives me that freedom.

There is always another way to do life 🫶

I go so I can handle everything else on my plate. It’s 45mins of peace 😅 Abs are just an added bonus 💪

Because when your days revolve around everyone else, it’s so important to have something that’s yours. It took me such a long time to put mum guilt aside and start doing something for me again.

Energy, destress, patience and clarity - that’s what working out gives me.
This is definitely my reset button.

For me, it started with the gym…and turned into building a life that actually supports me too 💖

I don’t use the masters degree I have.. I understood that we don’t have to go back to who we were before having kids to create something that’s ours again.

Now I earn from home.
I’m present for my kids.
And we travel more than I ever thought possible.

Not because I followed the plan but because I finally chose something that worked for this season of life 💖
